Great modern trash screwball comedy really. Mikey Madison is wonderful and the movie looks stunning. Sean Baker is one of my favorite directors these days.
Spoiler: show
i did not liked the russian mob with a good heart though. I did not cared for the ending that much either.
I’m getting warmer with the ending. What a great movie this is. Can’t wait to see it again.

I think LV and Tommy are set to do battle over who loves classic cinema more.

I watched the Hammer The Curse of the Werewolf tonight and thought it was tremendous. Pretty devastating, unexpectedly. Oliver Reed really is better than Cailee Spaeny

It has been a while so I revisited THX 1138. What a great movie for the score/sound effects alone. Such classic "sci fi" audio. Really happy I rewatched it again.

LV has me well and truly beaten in this arena. I am at the beginning of my journey, while he is a seasoned traveler.

My Old Ass.

I’ll watch Aubrey Plaza do anything.

The movie felt like an after school special for teenage girls who kiss other girls. I enjoy movies that make you appreciate what you have. It was also a breezy 90 minutes. I enjoyed it for what it was.

Vox Lux.

That was interesting. Mostly, because i loved how it was shot, the photography, montage. Framing. Gorgeous really. Portman was ok and there was nothing that new with the story, but overall it got me more exited about The Brutalist.
