I love the idea of lasagne at Christmas. I just hope it's not same-day lasagne.

It’s been requested that I do a spiral cut ham this year. My brother said the last time I’ve made it, it was the best he’s ever had. I’ve only made it one time. Our first Easter in the new house. A new neighbor had gifted us the ham when we moved in. It’s hilarious the impressions people have over stuff that means nothing to others.

Xmas eve dinner I did a porchetta in the egg. Good crackle.

Tomorrow I think my SIL is doing pork as well. Which I mentioned to my wife, but she was hell bent on the porchetta tonight.

We had a south central PA delicacy tonight, ham loaf. Can’t get it down here in the south but my parents brought some back with them on their last visit

You guys ever heard of doing fettuccini on Christmas eve? Is that really like a thing?

I have no idea, but I'll tell you made it for Christmas eve eve and it was amazing. I haven't had fettuccini in forever.

Did you actually make the fettuccine noodles?

I definitely miss cooking for groups and home always brought on pasta.
