Nah. I’m more of a thread killer. I’ll post and then that will just be it for the thread.Jorge wrote:Is this a self-nomination?daft twat wrote:My Tom Hanks thread is a Pearl Jam song pun run away from being legitimate.
I don’t know what my most replied-to thread is, but I’m sure it was something obvious that someone else would have done if I hadn’t.
I have two discussion topics I began that I’m proud of:
The Stand-up Comedian thread.
And then I once made a Pearl Jam thread that was something like, “Is the band too famous to make the album you want?” I don’t remember exactly, but I think that one got a good discussion going.

Re: Best threadstarters on RM
How many of one’s threads purged in GD need to be resurrected by other RMers for the original threadstarter to be recognized here?

There is an eagle in me and a mockingbird . . . and the eagle flies among the Rocky Mountains of my dreams and fights among the Sierra crags of what I want . . . and the mockingbird warbles in the early forenoon before the dew is gone, warbles in the underbrush of my Chattanoogas of hope, gushes over the blue Ozark foothills of my wishes—And I got the eagle and the mockingbird from the wilderness.
O, I got a zoo, I got a menagerie, inside my ribs, under my bony head, under my red-valve heart—and I got something else: it is a man-child heart, a woman-child heart: it is a father and mother and lover: it came from God-Knows-Where: it is going to God-Knows-Where—For I am the keeper of the zoo: I say yes and no: I sing and kill and work: I am a pal of the world: I came from the wilderness.
