Re: What movies are you watching?
in 2024, I watched 163 movies that I hadn't seen before. that total is way down from 2023 (308), 2022 (296), and 2021 (290), but higher than the preceding years. 163

And I went to the movies 49 times to see 46 different movies. 50 times if you count the time I went to see Megalopolis but immediately fell asleep and then left when I woke up

Last year was still 2023. You did not state that you only track movies you haven't seen. Either way 3 hundred and whatever it was is a crazy amount congrats or something I guessThe Argonaut wrote:I only track movies I haven't seen before. That number is 163. See above

I'm at 546 for 2024. Of those, 338 were first-time viewings. Those totals do include short films and mini-series, though.

Did a rewatch of Sofia coppola’s Somewhere.
Saw it when it premiered at a film festival that year and really liked it and this time I liked it a bit less.
Still some good moments

Re: What movies are you watching?
Went to the theater with my brother yesterday and saw War of the Rohirim and Nosferatu then my nephew came over and he wanted to watch Dredd.
That brings my total for the year to 451 with 62 rewatches.
I don't know how many times I went to the theater, but I saw 16 2024 movies - way down from 33 the previous year.

I also rewatched this and enjoyed it more the second time; I love everything by Eggers but this one ranks last for melennytheweedwhacker wrote:The Northman. I probably liked this a little better than first viewing. The first 30 minutes are unf*ckwithable no doubt, but the second gets a little tedious in the second half. Looks fantastic though.
seeing Nosferatu on Saturday evening, can't wait
