No clue. I just manually opened it to park in

Redid the deck with trex this year and added a privacy wall, railing lights, and a freestanding pergola with a new furniture set. Currently having my coffee outside in the 40 degree weather with the heat lamp on. One of the best investments I’ve made.
Any of you players ever used the little wrench to unclog a garbage disposal? If that didn't and work and you had to replace it, did you do it yourself and was it difficult? Answer as if you're retarded.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I do have some other plumbing based things I may or may not be able to do. Very tempted to just call a plumber. This is my old house and I need to get it on the market.

It's pretty easy - I've done it a few times. Did you hit the reset button on the bottom of the unit? What does it sound like when you turn it on? Did you feel any tension release when you turned the allen wrench?
I’ve not done a disposal, but I replaced a bathroom sink once. What sucked the most was the small space and tough angles, I was sore af the next day. Just pay a guy.

I haven't used the correct type wrench yet. I know I tried with a generic allen wrench years ago. I may not have done it correctly, so I just let it go since I didn't really care about having one.
It just makes a whirring sound, so it's not the motor right? I didn't use it a ton, but I think I may have let some grease in there that hardened. Not sure if that would completely lock it up.
I really am godawful at this type stuff and have put off diving in. I know I should give this and the other stuff one more legit go at it, but a plumber really may be worth it mentally.

Get a set of allen wrenches and give it one more go. Are you really going to feel good about paying a guy to come in and do 30 second's work?

I meant to add that i'm going to borrow someone's wrench that's made for this purpose.
If that's all I needed doing - probably not. But I have some other bathtub and sink leaks, toilet installation (I can probably do this with someone's help but part of me is all like if I call a plumber it may not really cost me that much if they're like already out there maybe I can negotiate a little idk)
