I wonder if, particularly for the early-to-mid-90s records, there really isn't much left on the cutting room floor that we haven't heard, besides earlier takes of the same songs we got.

if I recall, Vitalogy was also largely a road album, so I suspect these weren't overly prolific sessions.

Is “I Won’t” the one where the lyrics were part of that PJ exhibit?

Look at that.

Any of those blurays arrive? Are they worth buying?

Happy to report that the bluray is well worth it.

Well, overall for $30 dlls it meets expectations.

I don’t have an Atmos setup at home, I have a Dolby DTS 5 speaker & sub-woofer setup through optical cable, so I knew off the bat I’d be getting it for the HQ PCM Stereo track.

After one listen, pretty much every track has little nuances revealed. Not For You and Tremor Christ come to mind for muffled sections being cleared up, Satan’s Bed as well.
Sound is crisp and not distracting (I have a preference for lower frequencies, so I usually close the center speaker, and the system adjusts to a more bassy output, but that’s just me).
We’ve come a long way from the cassette tape I first heard Vitalogy on.

Light “meh” on visuals, it just runs the album cover with “Vitalogy” fading in and out.
Much like the “Dark Matter” bluray, none of the visuals make the jump.
Bummer ‘cause they just did the animated Vitalogy booklet artwork, that might’ve been better. No biggie though, just missed opportunities.

This will definitely give the vinyl a break.

My wife snagged me the this blu ray and the Single Video Theory, but I need to do some rearranging in the loft before I give it a run on my 5.1

It'd be awesome if Binaural received this same Blu-ray treatment this year for its 25th.

Sonically, I'd say they're 2 for 2 without being nitpicky.
Visually, they're 0 for 2 but also seems to not be on their checklist.

Binaural has the strongest set of outtakes. If I had it my way, the outtakes would get at least some attention/treatment.

Wouldn't a reissue of Freak have been pretty cool for last year?

Hell, they could have made this bluray a Freak reissue.
