Has anyone done this for 2003?

There are some straight-up comps I think, floating around forever. Ridley's Japan comp (The Guests Are So Refined) is the only one I have.

This Europe 2000 one is remastered - but lends itself to that because the original boots were un-mastered and had mostly guitars mixed into the sides during the music, so the balance and lack of proper EQ were able to be manipulated somewhat.

After Europe, Brett started mixing all kinds of shit in there and they were crushed in mastering. And you can't really polish a turd.

This whole things sounds tremendous! I was reminded yesterday of a beautiful moment in this comp during Corduroy where Matt starts hitting the ride cymbal coming out of the bridge, around the 3:00 mark. Just exquisite...

That was a big reason why I chose this version! It's like Vinnie Colaiuta or Stewart Copeland slipped into Matt's body for just a second or some shit. It might be his most inspired playing on that song ever. Stone also does cool stuff in the outro.

Usually if it was down to more than one version, something like that would tip the scales. Frequently it would be Mike's solo.
