You would think that shareholders of the Jets and Browns would see what new ownership can do for a team (Washington) and demand the primary owners sell.

It’s wild that there are only a handful of franchises that are actively trying to compete for a championship year in and out. And then there are teams like those you named who could absolutely give two shits, and are content with selling seats and concessions, or are willing to let teenagers make high level decisions.

It’s baffling.

I’m not shocked by inept franchises. As you work your way up in the corp world, you pretty quickly realize that no one - or at least very few- really know what they’re doing. High level execs are no exception.
