Re: Severance
Finally got to watch the S2 premiere. I loved it. Very surprising, not at all what I expected (and I don't know what I expected). But this was great. And I have SOOOOO many questions.
Fuck! So glad this show is back.

Re: Severance
I've always enjoyed the Watch podcast. Andy is obviously knowing and experienced and talented. Chris is a smart dude.
But, Jesus, they're commentary on S2 is insufferable and ignorant and dumb. It's so bad that I feel like never listening to their pod again.

Re: Severance
There would probably be 10+ podcasts about this show, not to mention all the YT recaps.

Re: Severance
There is an "official" pod with Ben Stiller and Adam Scott. That one, I like, so far.

Re: Severance
I still listen regularly and enjoy the pod but they lost me a bit back when they refused to watch Chernobyl while it was on. So bizarre and they seemed to get off on their audience being incredulous they weren’t watching what was arguably the best show on TV while it was airing. Then I also find out they watch some of these shows on laptops with subtitles on.epilogue wrote:I've always enjoyed the Watch podcast. Andy is obviously knowing and experienced and talented. Re: Severance
Yeah, their relatively laid back, ease back into work temperament felt off to me the entire episode until I remembered they've only ever been out in the world for a grand total of an hour or so. It was an eventful hour for Mark, thus his Tom Cruise running routine initially, but it'd make sense he'd fall back into old patterns because he's only dealing with fragments of the reality outside Lumon.VinylGuy wrote:yeah me too. i also struggled with how chill the innies seemed to be. i guess it makes sense as they're like partial people, but still.Ensign9 wrote:Yeah, their relatively laid back, ease back into work temperament felt off to me the entire episode until I remembered they've only ever been out in the world for a grand total of an hour or so.
