Weirdly I kind of agree. It does have a kind of soundtrack sound.

Is it just me or what, but for my ears Whipping (Vs) and Whipping (Vitalogy) sound absolutely the same. In terms of instrumentals.

And it’s still different from every live version I’ve ever heard. I’ve always wondered why they kept that part between the first and second verses like that on the recording when it’s, to my knowledge, never been played live. And I like the live arrangement better. (Although, I don’t much care for how they do it now. Too fast and I don’t like what Matt does).

damn i never thought of this before
First thing I thought of when Vitalogy was released. I had taped the Atlanta show from the radio and had already heard it dozens if not hundreds of times by the album release.
