Never even heard of that.
I don’t even care about him anyways.
Ryan gosling needs no direction. Heh out does Ryan gosling. And it works.
I’m imagining his character in Drive in this. Just a lone Jedi wandering the galaxy who says little or nothing and travels around doing what needs done and getting shit done quietly.
Ryan gosling has never put a foot wrong in his entire career. He’ll be fantastic in Star Wars.

I’m not worried.
Gosling can read the phone book and make it work. And get nominated for Oscar’s for it.
I hope there’s a musical number and he’s the lead!

Ryan Reynolds will probably get an important part in the movie.

Re: Star Wars: Simon Kinberg Trilogy
"Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds are one of Hollywood’s most dynamic duos, collaborating on three hit films since 2019 that have collectively grossed over $1.6 billion worldwide. Each of these successful projects, directed by Levy, starring Reynolds, and co-produced by both, highlights their remarkable ability to craft films that entertain and resonate with global audiences.
Their first collaboration, Free Guy (2021), was a massive success, becoming the highest-grossing original film of the year.
The duo reunited for Netflix’s beloved The Adam Project (2022). In its first 28 days, it was streamed by over 92 million households. As of today, it ranks among the top 3 most-streamed films on Netflix, with a total of over 281 million hours viewed.
Most recently, Levy and Reynolds co-produced and co-wrote Marvel's Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), which shattered multiple records. It was the biggest R-rated opening of all time and became the highest-grossing R-rated film in cinematic history, with over $1.3 billion in global box office earnings. The film is now ranked among the top-grossing movies of all time.
Levy and Reynolds have developed a strong creative synergy, with a joint ability to blend singular visual spectacle with physical and verbal comedy, creating movies packed with unique and imaginative action, resonant themes and authentic warmhearted humanism. "

I don't think there is any way a Shawn Levy film that is this huge, will not feature Ryan Reynolds in some way.dimejinky99 wrote:Anders wrote:Ryan Reynolds will probably get an important part in the movie.

If they stick him in a massive jabba or similar for one scene it’s the only way it’ll work. As they did with Simon Pegg in TFA.
In no universe does importing Reynolds puerile nonsense into Star Wars work.
And we tried ‘comedy relief’ with main character jar jar and look how that worked. He’s not that stupid it would end his career and make his life miserable.

This isn't reportedly part of the Simon Kinberg Trilogy.
Take it to the Star Wars rumors or the Shawn Levy thread!

Re: Star Wars: Simon Kinberg Trilogy
Agreed. It was a bit odd to put it here. A Shawn Levy thread sounds better.
Maybe a mod can split the threads?
