Pretty good family movie, i'd describe it as The Iron Giant with environmentalism replacing the Cold War themes.

You can play it cool all you wish... But I shed a manly tear with that one.

Nosferatu (two thousand and twenty four). Just as I expected, this movie quickly burrowed its way underneath my skin. And into my heart, devouring my soul. Just like with The VVitch, which I don't appreciate nearly as much as this, but love, subtitles are absolutely crucial. The language is so ancient it's hard to recognize the words in my brain. And I miss crucial plot details. Needless to say I watched it on my computer today and then again halfway through with subtitles. Looking forward to watching it again tomorrow completely with subtitles.

This is my first time watching it in probably 20 years. It's still a classic and it looks incredible.

Hundreds of Beavers. I was told this was like a "live-action Looney Tunes" and I definitely see that's what they were aiming at but the gags seemed very predictable and tired. Pretty lame.

Conclave. I really enjoyed this, loved how pulpy it felt. The easy pleasures of a tawdry airport paperback. Great performances. Cool sets.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Watched De Palma's Sisters this evening. Strange movie that I quite enjoyed. Very Hitchcock. The ending really made me laugh.

Really elegantly made, I appreciate several sequences, but the writing! A bunch of very abrupt and under-developed nonsense. Vacillates between fun and annoying one too many times, ends up in the annoying side

Anton Corbjin is very tasteful but overall the movie is 30 minutes too long. Still enjoyable.

I can't remember which David Lynch movies I haven't seen. Maybe I should finish up Twin Peaks. I think I only saw the first season, which I loved, but I heard the second season wasn't great, so I didn't watch so as not to ruin it.
