I do need to read the language of the Orders but you may want to take this as performative dime.

The initial announcement made a big splash in New York media but every signature will be met with by the operation that actually has to deal with it, a slew of other parties and lastly (yet hopefully not) the Supreme Court.

My very first thought was he’s done this just as a huge distraction. For the reasons you state but also if and when the contents do actually get out there.

It was stated early to be a media distraction in my opinion. Obviously I have zero clue about what is going in the the depths of the United States government that looks to be placing clueless individuals in to powerful positions but...
