I just think its unnecessary, and sounds rough to boot. 'uncontrollable like you' Whyyyy

Eds interview was fun! Wouldn't be ed if didn't squeeze something serious in there, but he did it without running the interview into the ground.

I like the 'like you' bit. The whole song has been addressing the listener, so it fits.

Can someone put a link up to that interview? I never saw it.

Guys, that was a great performance. Once again the music didn't have enough presence during the vocals . The few seconds at the 4:50 mark is the highlight. I wish they would have rocked out to that instead of mike going into the last solo.

Any impartial viewer would have turned off after 45 seconds of Sirens. Ed completely fucked that.

The emphasised Ed vocal intro on LB is cringeworthy.

Jeff is a badass.

That was good. I liked Ed in that interview. Fallon really annoys me.

It was objectively the best performance of the week.

I finally watched everything from the week last night
Cornells performance was good but really lacked the emotion that ed is able to get across when he sings it.
Loved robin pecknold's performance of Corduroy
The country guys version of alive was awful, mike being there couldn't save it
I don't see why people are giving ed crap about sirens, i thought he sounded great, and its a tough song to sing so i wouldn't have expected perfection, that what the studio version is for
I really liked lightning bolt last night but i was about to fall asleep before they came on so i don't really remember much other then it was fun to watch.

Did the cold confession sign ever make it on tv? I didn't see it but wasn't looking too hard

What is the proper term for the hair style on display atop Mr. McCready's head during these performances?

Not even fucking close. God, do you ever have anything good to say about this band?

No shit, right!? Damn, both performances were fine, and the LB one was better.

Thanks for these.

God, I still love Pecknold's performance of Corduroy. Just amazing, I'm not sure why people aren't liking it. The gentleness of his voice against the sloppy alt. country anger of the music. It's so passive aggressive.

I enjoyed that Lightning Bolt performance; I've always thought the song was ok, but it always felt slightly too polite, for lack of a better word. It was nice it get a little dirty in the live performance.

Just watched that one again and loved it, i still think the song is in the lower half of the record for me as far as the studio version goes, but its gonna be so good live
