By the way. It’s the song that most of all benefits from the binaural recording malarkey they did. It’s the one that works the most. Of all of them.

I agree. I think it’s the last PJ album that has no skips for me.

Matters wrote:Soon Forget is nice but as other users have previously suggested, I’d rather it come after Writer’s Block. SF interrupts one of the best run of songs on any PJ album (Insignificance - Parting Ways) and the listener should be rewarded for sitting through the silent gap and typewriting, although that may defeat the purpose of WB.
This is an interesting take and I think I agree. Insignificance into Parting Ways would be a good transition
I was referring to the run of songs on side 2 of Binaural.

I no longer have any frame of reference for the real Binaural tracklisting, I've only listened to the original (but not released) tracklisting since first finding out about it - so that's, I don't know, 15-20 years.

I think it works better than the dreary Parting Ways - at least you have something to look forward to!

I like parting ways but in a world where we have long road?
They’re too much the same for me.

I remember hearing Parting Ways for the first time and thinking it sounded like Long Road.
