Hi, wondering if a studio version of it might exist shelved somewhere.
This is definitely a song (maybe unfinished) not just an improv.

Great improv/song whatever this is. I have this boot, San Diego 1993/11/03, I think it's called Indian Summer, very good show.
They may have a whole room filled with these kind of things, demo, ideas, riffs etc... Who knows?
The only sure thing is: man, I miss how they used to come up with these kind of improv during live shows. They don't really do this anymore. I think 2003 was the last tour where they played some decent improv during shows? I can't think of anything worth of note in this regard after that. Maybe 2005?

I'm not Dev. But I suppose he's a cool dude since someone thinks I'm him.

This takes me back to when I paid $40 for a CD-R bootleg called "Unplugged and Undrugged" at a local record store. It had the MTV Unplugged set, plus rarities and improvs, including this one. Those were the days.
