I think Education is such a hokey song. It’s like something from a Simpsons parody. The lyrics are trite. The composition is basic and non-engaging. It goes nowhere and accomplishes nothing.

I wouldn't go this far, but it's never really worked for me either. Ending the album with it never made sense to me.

I think it would have been a weird closer, but I've always found it super catchy -- which stands out in out in a group of songs that didn't really go in for big, easy melodies. Love the rhythm too -- I don't think there's any other PJ song that rides this particular groove.

Education is a weird Eastern European stomp, something wildly unique in the band's catalogue.

Thin Air is a slightly drab, faux country thing.

I just don't hear any connection at all.
