Whale Song aligns with the themes of "surrender" from the album. Also, a whale appears in the DTE video. 8-)

Actually none of them for me. I am curious about Leatherman II (Eddie mentioned about it in an interview and can be seen the title in Lost Dogs booklet, too).. Also Falling Down (Fallen in Lost Dogs booklet?) could be a nice addition..

For me is Whale Song.

I agree. The band was clearly having fun experimenting around this era.

I can imagine a world where Happy When I’m Crying, Black Red Yellow, Dead Man, and Sunburn are on an album together.

And they would be if it weren’t for the dictatorial lead singer.

Yield is my #3 album, but my main knock against it is that All Those Yesterdays is a mid-level closers. I like the song okay, but I don’t think it fits tonally as a closer for the tracks that came before it.

Yes, there are some aspects to the saga that could justifiably be termed "the worst."

If anything, it's the fault of the tracks that come before it for not fitting tonally with All Those Yesterdays, which is one of their very best closers. But I think tonally, it's all fits. Yield is a vibe.
