I have no idea but this all reminds me

A couple of days ago my friend and I were watching a TV show about education among Japanese schoolgirls. We were really touched by the subject, so we asked my friend Julio about it, and he answered:
"Damn!.. Wow! Don't tell me you're into Japanese schoolgirls too!"

But then when my friend and I got to the part about the education, Julio got this dangerous look in his eyes and ran away all of a sudden. But then this morning, Julio's uncle told me that the reason Julio was so freaked out was because he had to study education in class. There are days when Julio can be a little dumb like that, but it just goes to show you need to practice a little sensitivity.
like, julio is studying to be a teacher, and now he thinks you think he might be a pedo?

Have you ever eaten at a place that was totally and obviously a front for a criminal enterprise or like a money laundering operation?

Yeah there was a pizza place down the road from me that never had any customers but stayed open for years until it burned down in the middle of the night

There’s a regional burger chain that went out of business and shuttered all their locations about 2 years ago. Most of the buildings that haven’t changed ownership still have the signage on them. One of the old locations is running as a burger restaurant, with the signage still on up, but it doesn’t have a name. People just call it the now-defunct restaurant’s name. Tbh I don’t even know if it’s registered as an official business with the city. It’s 100% an illegal operation, and absolutely no one involved, past or current ownership or local officials, cares.

there was a bar/nighclub sort of place in our neighborhood when we first moved to chicago that kept bizarre hours. would be closed on a saturday night, then open on a tuesday or something. no real signage, very basic and sterile decor, blue lighting, often had a big curtain drawn. could've been an event space for hire, but i always suspected it was a front. never got the nerve to go in.

when you go to the grocery store and there are those plastic containers of blueberries with no seal, is it acceptable to open one to eat one blueberry to test for taste (sour or sweet)/freshness?

It should be as those containers suck and always spill open on the way home in the bag.

I have a pack of Biscoff biscuits from a Delta flight. I don't know the last time I flew delta, or the last time I used the bag I found them in. No expiration date. Are they safe?
