I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

We watched Saturday Night. Pretty interesting. I know Reitman did a lot of research and everything, but there was quite a bit that felt embellished. To me anyway. It was a fun watch. The kid playing Aykroyd fucking nailed him.

My good friend is working the SNL 50th Anniversary concert. She just texted me to tell me she just heard Ed's soundcheck. :heartbeat:

She says this concert is going to be amazing.

She said he covered Tom Petty. So, I'm assuming Room at the Top of the World. But she didn't specify.

Wowza... He's done a lot of Petty covers.

Room At The Top
Wildflowers
I Won't Back Down
American Girl
The Waiting

Hope he throws us a curve ball.

I wish it was the full band. Ed’s never done the show solo. Should’ve been all of them.

Yeah. Of those he's done, I'm hoping for Wildflowers, honestly.

But something more unexpected would be cool.

Maybe everyone performing will get together and close the show out with Rocking In The Free World.
