Gunn is the man.
Seems like these guys are prolific. What’s the best album? Who does the beats?
The beats very from album to album. Alchemist, Daringer, Camoflauge Monk, Danny Leflare, Conductor Williams, DJ muggs…idk off the top of my head.

Best albums?

Supreme Blientele
Pray For Paris
Hitler Wears Hermes 8
Westside DOOM (single)

Very prolific. I don’t think there are any brothers. There’s Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine and Benny The Butcher who founded Griselda together. It’s a massive label at this point.
 Re: the brother thing, from wiki: "He co-founded the hip-hop record label Griselda Records in 2012 with his paternal half-brother Conway the Machine and their cousin and fellow rapper Benny the Butcher."
oh shit. my bad.

Conway and Alchemist's LULU fucking slaps also.

Benny the Butcher started to come off corny to me but The Plugs I Met is pretty solid. It's hard to keep up with all of their output but there are a ton of gems in the catalogue.

Just a quick listen so far, maybe 3-4 songs. Sounded really smooth, as usual with Al. Feels like it will get some more listens. I did catch their performance on Fallon and it was fun as hell. But as you said neither are my favorite mc’s.

Any MIKE fans?

He dropped a heater a few weeks ago. He’s got a ton of great shit. Self produced. Burning Desire is a beautiful album of his.

I love MIKE. I first heard him featured on Earl’s stuff and was impressed. They’re definitely in the same vein.
Keep on rockin’ in the free world.

Yeah I think that’s where I caught wind. Earl being one of my favorites.

Grabbed a random album from a Top 50 of 2024 list, and man what a nice album. Kind of an old school feel, breezy production and nice bars over it.

Desert Camo - Desert Camo

Key tracks:

Oh, So It’s Like That?
Let’s Talk About It
High Brow

Overall very solid.
