got the Bends (not soulseek) it was on a tracker; the sound is amazing.

The new Radiohead OK Computer sessions is great companion to the MiniDisc set. I love the complete takes (the first tracks are brilliant); it's a bit frustrating to hear these snippets (I wish a fan mix could have been done using the Karma Police outro which is amazing (and perhaps the MiniDisc "basic track" as a main track ?).
the other snippets with just the vocals and the piano reminds me John Lennon's "Sexy Sadie". And I don't know why but the coda/outro of Karma Police makes me think of Pink Floyd's "High Hopes" - both are great.

Radiohead have very little music that is actually like this. Even Kid A and Amnesiac have a lot of guitar- and piano/keyboard-based songs on them.

It's so offensive, it negates the many songs with nothing but guitar and/or piano automatically.

It's a cautionary tale about not challenging mainstream rawk aficionados.

Pearl Jam went through the same issue when they allowed Matt Cameron to write songs, like he did for Soundgarden with no issues.

At least they're still a band. I hope for a tour. They may have been at their best in 2018 - a surprising detail for a 25+ year old band.
