Hey guys, Spike and Ello are here to tell you how CRINGE and EMBARRASSING you are for being interested in something and talking about it with each other. You don't want to be a bunch of nerds, do you? Don't you want to be COOL like them?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I got really choked up over Laura Dern and Isabella Rossellini walking in and sitting with each other as 2 David Lynch actresses. This was in addition to the in memoriam.
Speaking of, Michelle Trachtenberg missing seemed like a glaring omission from the in memoriam; not like she was a lauded movie actress, but she was still very recognizable for people of a certain age group

If this was in response to my hilarious play on words, I’ve never seen it. But I heard he thanked Jess Franco in the credits so I’ll eventually watch it

yeah, that was weird. Alain Delon too. Tony Todd goddamn it!! But Jorge is right, is kinda hard to get them all together.
It also helps to explain things like missing so many people for the In Memoriam montage if you keep in mind that a large plurality of the Academy is deeply, deeply stupid.

I’m pretty sure a publicist was included this year
