i got ddang love this intro text

She was a comely young woman and not without prospects. Therefore it was heartbreaking to her mother that she would enter into marriage with William Munny, a known thief and murderer, a man of notoriously vicious and intemperate disposition.

When she died, it was not at his hands as her mother might have expected, but of smallpox. That was 1878.

I'm ashamed to admit I've never seen Unforgiven. But I vow to change that.

My brother was very upset that John Travolta beat up James Gandolfini in that movie.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Last two that I've watched
Late Night with the Devil
The Substance

Both of these were quite something

i enjoyed a complete unknown - immersion into the early 60s counterculture is always fun - but i get the negativity towards it. pretty bland treatment of one of the more interesting and complex people of the 20th century.

Stopped by a Barnes and Noble on the way home to take advantage of the Paramount 50% off sale. They didn't have what I wanted (the Zaz collection and Twin Peaks) but I did pick up Fatal Attraction and Mommie Dearest on Blu Ray.

For a Few Dollars More.

Still the least of the three and flawed in a lot of ways, but the music might be the best. Weird seeing Klaus Kinski in this.

I went to the Barnes and nobles in Flint and they had the Zaz collection, so I'm currently watching Top Secret
