I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Still haven’t watched the second one.
Was warned off the tv series by a huge Dune fan pal of mine.
Might watch the second one later.

The series wasn’t bad. Was a nice little backstory in that world. It’s so far before what we know as dune it didn’t affect my opinion one way or the other

It looks fantastic. The sets and design and costume. That’s my world so if I was gonna watch it it would be for that. I don’t know the lore at all so I should just watch it for this stuff.

Josh Brolin's wife: "Awww." (Making that sweet pouty face one sometimes makes when you've touched their heart.)
On further review Dune 2 was perfect.

Maybe that means it will cover more material than just the Messiah book. Children of Dune, and whatnot. I haven't read the books, but I'm familiar with the titles
