a few observations / opinions from my side from this whole episode:
1) it is remarkable how poor reading comprehensions skills can be
2) having lived the life of a wrongly-labaled maga for a few days, and seeing how quickly the moral high ground left abandoned me, demonstrated first-hand the power of stereotyping, misinformation, and the power and potential danger internet poses
3) it must be terrifying for any public figure from any industry to log on online and see the hate waiting for them in various places
4) watching woke piranhas descend on a maga target is a miserable sight. they might be as bad as maga in their willingness to insult and reduce the opponent to worthless status. a reminder perhaps that for the universe to exist in balance there must be both
5) the articles that you click on don’t make you a better person
6) Obama was a once in a generation orator and I doubt we will see a compelling enough candidate any time soon sufficient to both band together the tribes of visceral hate idealist left and crossover to independent and moderate red voters

i appreciated your initial support. and i think zelensky is a very noble person but i did not think he put the best interest of his people first in that meeting. if the goal of his visit was to obtain military and financial support for his country then he failed. i agree with the things he said. but he shouldn’t have said them. now his people are in far worse off shape than before. that part is trump’s fault. but zelensky could have prevented the pull of US support by being quiet in the meeting. same principles apply to why i don’t mouth off to the mods when i get a board warning. i might think i am right, but they can just pull the plug, and that’s that. i might not think it’s fair, but that’s irrelevant. zelensky is me in this scenario and Trump is the mod. and now zelensky got vacationed and needs to go find companionship on some lesser board.
my junk is definitely not what it used to be. not rotting but if it did start to rot it might not even make that much of a lifestyle difference at this point
