Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. Im very curious is Michael Mann makes Heat 2.

The book is huge and have everything, from time jumps to different locations and a lot of scenes that seem very difficult and expensive to shoot.
I loved the book and to be a part of those characters again, but he sure needs to adapt it in a way more short version.

I think it means the movie lacked depth (when perhaps others in the genre hadn’t), but it still has cool explosions or costumes.

I watched it at a film festival a long time ago. One of the weirdest fucking documentaries I've ever seen, largely because the filmmakers chose to frame it as this tender, emotional, almost heartwarming story about this group of middle aged guys who got together secretly to fuck animals.

Fascinating story and some truly bizarre filmmaking choices.
