I have to admit I’m not a very close listener when it comes to bass playing. So I was wondering if there are any studio Pearl Jam tracks where Jeff plays acoustic bass. I don’t think so, but does anyone know for sure?

Hasn't he often switched to one of those fancy modern double basses for Black?

Since we get both during Eddie’s band introductions, have we ever gotten a definitive answer on pronounced Ament or amEnt? You know, so he has the happIest of birthdAys

I think Stone says A-ment. I trust him. Either way it’s too bad Ed has never bothered to learn how to pronounce the man’s name.

Does that name originate back to some form of amen?

I missed in the Newsletter that Jeff put out a vinyl of the soundtrack for Montana Grinds. I would have bought that, but it's sold out. :(
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I’m surprised Jeff did this. Seems too “mainstream” for him.

Also, has he changed how he pronounces his last name? It seems like every tour Ed goes back and forth with it. You’d think after 36 years he’d have it down by now.
