Should I buy a 75 inch TV?

Post by tommy »

I have a 65 inch Hisense U8K. It's a pretty good TV, but I think my living room could accommodate a 75 incher (85 would be too big, I think)

I'm happy with the Hisense, but the 75 inch version is a different type of panel and the general consensus is that it's not quite as good (lower brightness and less dimming zones)

I could spring for an Oled, but I'm still not really sold on them. This is a living room TV, so it has to be bright enough during the day (which the Hisense absolutely is) and I worry about burn-in.

Help.

The extra size sounds good, the potential loss in quality not so much.

I bought a Samsung. Happy with it. But you know better about local offers and local apps.
