Re: I have no problems banning you now
Maybe it would be good if we addressed the issue head-on and reach some sort of consensus of what is acceptable to say. That way there is less chance of misunderstandings.
Many of us have pretended to be gay here to some extent, even some who are now finger-wagging about it. My take is that this is fine. Your sexuality is yours to play around with and make jokes about. If someone were using gay as an insult to attack others that would be a different story.

One time I made fun of Disney's handling of Star Wars and Dime accused me of being a rapist. When I confronted him privately he claimed to have been hacked.tree_ wrote:what if dime took some sort of, i don't know, anger management courses? the reasons for his lashing out might seem justified on some level(s), but i think most of us can agree there are more diplomatic ways to handle conflict. have him pass an online course and then unban him, i say.. surely lenny from HR can come up with something
What I'm saying here is maybe he got hacked again

i dunno man.....if he said he was hacked and someone randomly bought a shit ton from a place in NYC and had it delivered to the bronx id say definitely
some stranger using spyware on dimes machine so he can get the very valuable RM credentials sounds a little out of the realm of possibility

There's a difference between reporting harassment and spamming the mods with flagged posts just because you don't like a person.96583UP wrote:if people are not allowed to report being harassed because it is annoying to the mods then the problem can get worseE.H. Please, everyone, report harassment and rule violations. But what be aware that we aren't always online. It may take a while before we see the flag.
If it's urgent or persistent and the mods haven't seen it, maybe PM a mod.

You weren’t the only one posting stuff, and either way it is natural to bring up in a conversation about Dime’s ban.96583UP wrote:I am ready to move on if others are ready to as well
You let me know if my apology thread was not explicit enough for you
