Someday at Xmas is a great Xmas single. But Jeremy is one of their very best songs and one of the songs who deserves a run at the top

i've gone full arc on Jeremy

used to neverrrr listen to it / hated it / was the overplayed main single

then i saw them do it live in the 2000 tour and 30,000 people belting the whole damn thing out in a basketball/hockey arena was something else

it was then i understood its power

since then i have come to respect it bigly

that said

i don't seek out the Ten version

but I do seek out the Unplugged version

He's just mentioned that, at the time, he really didn't know how to write songs and this is a pretty simple song.
