Canada and Australia have many points of similarity.

This was our former PM Bob Hawke, who once (allegedly) held the world record for sculling a yard glass of beer in 11 seconds. He was also a Rhodes Scholar, was instrumental in creating Medicare in Australia (our most excellent socialised medicine program) and happened to go to the same primary school as my brother and sister did (albeit many years before them).

Here's him sculling a beer at the cricket in 2012 as an 82 year old.
