For me, live Pearl Jam at its most emotional begins with “the waves came crashing like a fist to the jaw.” From there into the chorus is the closest to heroin I’ve ever been.

Re: Pearl Jam Emotions
I tried listening to Backspacer yesterday and forgot how lifeless it is. It didn’t evoke any emotional response in me. So I stopped playing it and put on Yield instead.

it's moments like that I always hope to get Given To Fly live. Same for Corduroy and Elderly Woman, which have similar moments (the waiting drove me mad/I just want to scream hello).
