I've been trying to incorporate more bean varieties into my cooking. Truth is, I don't have what it takes to make beef & black bean as well as the Chinese grandpa at my local takeout joint. So I've returned to the kidney bean comfort pick.

One of my proudest accomplishments was adding kidney beans to chili enough times that it finally got my wife into beans.
