Unbelievable. I haven't been moved by a show or film like this in ages. Just wow.

Absolute heartbreaking.

On to season 2. Love Christina Ricci in this.

I really enjoyed how they didn't force-feed anything to you, as in "this is how you should feel". They just showed everything in its fucked-upness and left you to sort yourself out.

Also, the single shot episodes were amazingly enjoyable. Really "put you in" the episodes almost.

Excellent TV.

Finished S2 and it was fine. Not as fun as the first season, but not bad at all. My only real issue was the injection of what seemed like “new” characters in the woods timeline. We will watch S3 and report back!

How come we don't have an Adolescence thread?
Holy hell, so much to dig into. I was floored my this one.
After watching a couple of behind the scene featurettes, I'm ready to give it a re-watch.

I never finished Silicon Valley either. Thought about that awhile back.

Continuing my re-watch of the Wire rn with season 2. Will be difficult not to blow through without watching anything else between.

Getting into this as well. That second episode reminded me a bit of that infamous S1 episode of The Bear. Frantic energy from the jump. I didn't notice until towards the end, but it seemed like it was all one shot. That would make sense, considering the episode is titled "Oner".
