Taking my oldest to his first MLB game next Friday. What's something that we have to do?

I’m trying to think back on this and I guess my best advice is just let him wander the stadium.Monkey_Driven wrote:Taking my oldest to his first MLB game next Friday. What's something that we have to do?
There’s a pretty reliable spot in Seattle to get an outfielder to toss you a ball after between inning warmups. Getting a ball for your kid is aces.

Yeah if you can get there early for batting practice that would be great for a kid. Might have a chance to snag a ball.Bammer wrote:I’m trying to think back on this and I guess my best advice is just let him wander the stadium.Monkey_Driven wrote:Taking my oldest to his first MLB game next Friday. Nestor Cortés gave up three HR’s on his first three pitches of the game. It’s a really tough stat to look up but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the only pitcher ever to do that. They were also his first three pitches of the season!

Re: MLB
Kristian Campbell may indeed be a guy. Extremely athletic play in left field to nearly take away a Garcia happen (it snowconed and fell out of his glove as he hit the ground), then his first career home run was 112 mph, 431 ft. Five hits in his first three MLB games. He’s been overshadowed in the Red Sox farm system for a while so I think even with his great year last season this seems like a surprise.
