It seems like it. But the people I know who I suspect may disagree are the ones I try to avoid talking politics with.Dev wrote:Do most people you know agree or?Farmer John wrote:He has my vote

Trump has seemingly saved Canada from the worldwide populist/fascist threat. The Conservative party that was going to win the next election is absolutely decimated in Canada. Oddly Trump has even turned to calling our Conservative leader a loser. Bahaha. Pierre Pollievre worshipped the Trump playbook.

We are very nice people and will try to give people the benefit of the doubt, hence tending to lead with "Are you Canadian?“.spike wrote:An Australian, after hearing my accent, asked me if I was Canadian recently. I said no, then kinda regretted it.
That way we have a chance of being pleasantly surprised.

Joe Rogan says he wouldn't even go to Canada now. Also says Trudeau was one of the most despicable people ever. How does he get these opinions? Just takes Jordan Peterson's word for it? And why are they putting this out there?

Does any normal American have a bad opinion about Canada? It’s really just the trump administration that is stoking the flames of this weird feud/Hatred? I’m not even sure what it’s supposed to be.
It’s so embarrassing.

I’d like to know if die hard Trump supporters have aligned their opinion of Canada to match his. Truly brainwashed if that has happened.

I love the fact that CANZUK has gone from being a Leaver thing to a Rejoiner thing, as should always have been the case. Maybe the 4 countries should just join the EU together. Sod it, if the East Yanks can say we're not European, we can play them at their own game.
So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.
