It’s the United Stated of America, so the name of the country is the problematic part.

You have no idea how often that argument comes up down here.

In Spanish we use the word Estadounidenses which literally translates to "Unitedstatesians".bodysnatcher wrote:People in the United States call themselves Americans. Which is kinda bullshit considering there are three Americas. I mean, Canada are Canadians. People from Mexico are Mexicans. Heck, even if you wanted to lump an entire continent together you can say South Americans! By that standard, shouldn't we be called United Staters or something?

If someone else wanted to be called Americans, they should have put it in their name.

Have you ever jumped or rolled out of a moving vehicle?

Re: Ask RM a Question
A buddy of mine was having some shit going on with his first wife and they were tooling down the road in his pickup while having a big fight. She opens the passenger door and flings herself out it and tells the police he reached across the cab, opened the door and shoved her out. They didn’t buy it for a minute.

Re: Ask RM a Question
On the interstate near Stockton California I saw a guy jump out of a (slowly) moving vehicle and roll down a hill. I'm pretty sure his hands were tied behind his back, but it happened so fast I'm not sure what I saw. I actually turned around to go check, but by that time the car and guy was gone.
That's my Stockton, California story.
