Looks like Nintendo is doing something similar to the Sony Direct Store's pre-orders for the PS5. Trag won't be eligible right away, but many of us might.

Invitation emails from Nintendo go out on May 8. A month after preorders open. C'mon Nintendo. Common sense would be nice.

Invitation emails will be prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis to registrants who have purchased a Nintendo Switch Online membership with a minimum of 12 months of paid membership and a minimum of 50 total gameplay hours, as of April 2, 2025. Once invitation emails have been sent to all registrants meeting the priority criteria, invitations will be sent to remaining eligible registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is the most Nintendo thing possible:

- no price announcement or pre-order date in the direct
- pre-order process that will force fans to have two pre-orders (or more)
- inevitable shipping delays

Never change, Nintendo!

Fine print:

Priority requirements are as follows: As of 4/2/2025, (i) you must have been the one who purchased any Nintendo Switch Online membership, (ii) you must have had any paid Nintendo Switch Online membership for a minimum of 12 months, and (iii) you must have opted in to share gameplay data and have at least 50 hours total gameplay hours.

I have no idea if I qualify now.

Does that mean you allow friends and others to see your game data?

Guys, I'm so happy for an upgraded Breath of the Wild for little to no cost. And HDR support!

It's probably a question I answered when I set up my Switch 8 years ago.

I thought the upgrades cost $25 per game. Not sure if that was official.

They're included in the Online + Expansion pack.

Looks like all the Switch controllers will work with the Switch 2. That's a huge win for those JoyCon collectors out there.

Per IGN, Mario Kart World is $80. Yikes. I wasn't expecting that.

What inventory tracker apps do you use? The ones I used in the past no longer work. I'm a fan of DekuDeals, but I'm not sure if it's real-time.

Do I need to join Discord and Telegram in order for NowInStock to work?
