Yeah. This was the first thing that came to mind.

I'll also suggest:

Ice Cube: Amerikkka's Most Wanted > Death Certificate > The Predator
Pavement: Slanted & Enchanted > Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain > Wowee Zowee

Sonic Youth: Evol > Sister > Daydream Nation
Spoon: A Series of Sneaks > Girls Can Tell > Kill the Moonlight
Neil Young: Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere > After the Gold Rush > Harvest; On the Beach > Tonight's the Night > Zuma

I think this is the best run by any rock band ever personally.
That's pretty bold, stip.

If only "King of America" and "Blood and Chocolate" were surrounded on either side by a record worthy of their greatness.

It's really good. "She Handed Me a Mirror" has become my favorite from that album. Such a sad song.

Off the top of my head, and shamefully featuring nothing but white guys, and only one old "classic group":

Pearl Jam: Vitalogy / No Code / Yield

Blur: Parklife / The Great Escape / Blur

Radiohead: The Bends / OK Computer / Kid A

Arcade Fire: Neon Bible / The Suburbs / Reflektor

Nirvana: Bleach / Nevermind / In Utero

Sigur Ros: Agaetis Byrjun / ( ) / Takk

Cult of Luna: Somewhere Along the Highway / Eternal Kingdom / Vertikal

R.E.M: Automatic for the People / Monster / New Adventures in Hi-Fi

Counting Crows: August and Everything After / Recovering the Satellites / This Desert Life

N.I.N: Pretty Hate Machine / The Downward Spiral / The Fragile

The Kinks: The Village Green Preservation Society / Arthur / Lola versus Powerman and the Moneygoround

God damn it, it says best in the album thread title! Not some of the best, or really great, or your favorites. it says best!

I wonder if this is how Ruddo feels all the time?
