In the Moonlight vs. Whipping

VERY tough. As much as I absolutely love ITM, I’m gonna go Whipping. It was played at my first ever show and was unreleased at the time.

This is one of the easiest matchups so far.

In The Moonlight, absolutely. It's not even close.

I got you, buddy. I just love In The Moonlight so much. It's easily top 25 and probably top 10.

Whipping is awesome. I enjoy the song. But it's a pretty slight song, for me, in the grand scheme of PJ.

Love both of these. Whipping by the smallest of margins. The space between between those kicks at around 1:13. Dave A's right foot man. It makes me giddy.

part of me wonders, if this is so close, if I should give in the moonlight another listen. tastes change. songs unlock at different points in our life. maybe i will uncovet something previously hidden from. its only 4 minutes of my life. then i see who is championing in the moonlight, and remeber how they voted in other matchups. I realize i am 49 in a few days. there are only so many 4 minute blocks of time left in my life. And i keep my whipping vote and put on Waiting For Stevie.

it was the right decision.

I just watched a live version of “Waiting for Stevie” on YT and the video that played afterwards was a live video by Nikki Sixx’s band, “Sixx A.M.”
