Tremendously bad mood today. Can I ask you a question? I very recently started using THC edibles for the first time in my life. Never more than 5 or 10 mg. Could this make me more irritable or something the next day? My nemesis at work really got on my nerves today but I'm not sure if she was just especially obnoxious or if I was a little sensitive

I think yes, THC can make people a little more irritable the next day.

But tell me more about this nemesis

I really hope this leads to your awakening and developing empathy and you apologizing for abandoning your friend and never looking back.

She's the worst! The incident that triggered me this morning was her chirping while I was talking to a 'customer' at the desk. Guy asks a question and instead of just letting me answer it, she feels the need to chirp from twenty feet away what the answer is. I just said "I know, Louise, thank you" instead of what I wanted to say which was "Do you think I am fucking stupid? If you wanted to talk to this dude, why don't you get up off your lazy ass and walk over here. Shut up and stay shut up."

There is so much work to do at my office. I come in in the morning and I start working. I take lunch and then I come back and work. When there's a 'customer' at the window, I jump up and greet them in a friendly manner. Most days it feels like I barely make any progress, and that's mainly because almost no one else in the office does any work.

And any work that she does do, she feels the need to do out fucking loud. It's an open office space. I am working on something, she is narrating whatever she's working on. And then bragging about it and demanding praise. Even the piddliest little shit. I hate when people demand praise for everything they do.

She's constantly complaining and telling the same inane stories over and over again. Saying borderline racist shit every day.

Another annoying thing she does is get in fights with people. She'll get a 'customer' on the phone and start a fight with them, which inevitably concludes with her telling them to send an e-mail. So they send a pissed-off e-mail and she fucking ignores it. So now whoever deals with it looks like they're the asshole who started the fight. She is the worst!

I've only gotten in one actual yelling argument with her because a few months into the job I realized that she was getting in the habit of raising her voice at me so I yelled back at her. She still takes a scolding tone at times but I mostly just ignore her. But that is also kind of impossible because of how much she yaps.

She's interviewing for promotions in other places so hopefully she gets one soon and I will be free of her.

My worst colleague ever, no doubt. Even worse than the lady at the library who brought in homemade cookies one time and I bit into one and got a bunch of her fucking hair in my mouth

Have you gotten a sense of whether your other coworkers feel the same about her?

tough to know, I think my colleagues like to pretend that this is a "work family", an idea which sickens me. They know she is too much, but they are forgiving in a way I have no interest in being. I kind of intimate that I hate her and they sympathize but apologize

yeah, late 50s. My office is two ladies in their late fifties, one guy in his late sixties, a 26-year-old guy, a thirty-something woman who is a new hire, and me. We work closely with a team of three people in their fifties and our boss is a fifty-something guy that I almost never see

I have a couple days off at the end of the month. I was thinking of going to the Yankees play the Orioles at Camden Yards but I don't really want to pay for a hotel, tbh

IF I ever did this i'd probably want to plan other traveling around it since a flight just for a game wouldn't be worth it.

I'm not sure I can bring myself to fraternize with RMer's anymore. If I did you would be near the top of the list, Argz.
