starting to feel settled in at the new house after a weekend of unpacking. unfortunately, i'll be burning it to the ground as i just killed a cockroach the size of my big toe in the kitchen.

our recycling bin finally showed up yesterday, but they put it next door, so i had to get the bin number and verify it was ours. still waiting on our rubbish bin, the gal i spoke to down at town hall said she'd call me back on that.

and our internet still isn't hooked up, might have to change our NBN provider. just terrible service. luckily, the 5G modem we had at the last place is working well here, even though they're supposedly geo-locked.

car, bikes, bins, and everything else fits into the new garage so happy about that. one of the big question marks we had leading up to the move (we had a much bigger double garage at our rental). can still do a bit more cleaning out and reorg to make it work even better too.

No they suck. They had a good catcher last year, but traded him to the White Sox in that terrible Giolito trade.
