NYC definitely has fantastic venues but also having so many in a small area can give it a bit of an advantage over some other large cities.epilogue wrote:NYC is famous for outstanding venues. At that rep is deserved.
Having said that Radio City Music Hall is the worst venue I've ever been to for concerts.
Absolutely enjoyed many a venue there and often repeat visits... no idea on #s but NYC stops alone:
Angel Orensanz Center
Beacon Theatre
Bowery Ballroom
Brooklyn Academy of Music
Carnegie Hall
Grand Ballroom
Hammerstein Ballroom
Highline Ballroom
Irving Plaza
Le Poisson Rouge
Lincoln Center
Madison Square Garden
Nokia Theater
Radio City Music Hall
Terminal 5
Town Hall
Webster Hall/The Studio @
Village Vanguard
I think that's it, never got to the Barclays, Iridium, Merc or United Palace.
Indeed, I did not like Radio City at all.
