I wonder if this is how Ruddo feels all the time?
Those were the best I could remember.

And they were fine choices

Was just trying to stir up some music dialogue is all, and maybe find some new music to get into.

Ill banish myself from titling any new threads until I've learned how to correctly state my goals.

Kinks were a huge influence on Blur...and when they were both on they really put out some impressive music. No one knows shit about either over here in the US, except for douchey music nerds like myself. I fucking love both of them. Albarn is a pop music genius in my mind.

I love Blur, but I can't sit through The Great Escape. It drives me nuts (aside from The Universal, which is totally sublime). Modern Life is Rubbish, Parklife, and the self-titled ones are fantastic though.

I like what I've heard of these albums but haven't had a brit-phase since I downloaded them. These guys and Pulp are on my list.

I would take The Holy Bible - Everything Must Go - This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours & Rid of Me - To Bring You My Love - Is This Desire over The Verve if we're talking 3 album runs from the 90's by Brit Alt Rock/Brit Pop band/artists (not that The Verve's run isn't great, I love the Verve).

You gotta re-listen to the bass on Life's An Ocean right away and after you change your mind I'll be here for you.

The former, clearly. Name a band/artist, any band/artist. Now put down that band/artist's best three album run. List as many band/artists as you fucking want.

Although I'd take it back to Funeral / Neon Bible / The Suburbs, if pushed.

I think Heartattack is several notches below the other two.

Just finished my first listen. We'll see how it percolates. I also know you enjoy Neon Bible more than me so we'll see if I think this is better or not.

This, or

Bone Machine>Mule Variations>Blood Money
I refuse to recognize the existence of Black Rider.
