Went to do my biweekly mow at Mrs Wease’s office and the electric push mower wouldn’t start. It’s been giving me trouble the last few weeks but has always come on. That yard is so small and easy it’s cut it fine so far this year, but today nothing. So looks like we’ll be getting a new electric pusher this weekend.

Spending Easter weekend with the family at a house by the beach. Our area appears to be one of the few not effected by a tropical cyclone hitting the country.
Yesterday took the kids to a Bluey stage show, then came back and took the to the beach. Took my wife's longboard down for the girls. My eldest's second time on a board and she managed to get up...twice.
This morning got up and went for a wee session around 7am. The waves were a bit dumpy, and the board a bit slippery, but I think the biggest issue was the lack of skill from the guy on the board

today started with the makings of a fun and easy Saturday -- much needed after like six weeks of non-stop hustle in our house -- but it quickly devolved into one of those totally pointless marital arguments. Haven't had one in a long while, never fun!

Anyway, now my wife and I hate each other and are just playing hot potato with our kid so we don't have to interact. It will all be better tomorrow though.

Hope tomorrow is lighter Trag!

I had a great saturday, basically cleaning my apartment, listening to podcasts and music.

I hope to watch at least a movie tonight.

It’s still under warranty but the “official” repair place closest to us is an hour away. No big deal except when you check the phone number it says they’re in a totally different town twice as far away. And when you call the number to inquire, it picks up and hangs up. Can’t leave a message, can’t talk to anybody. The next closest place to us is 3.5 hours away in Kentucky.

Went down to the local school with my girls. Played some game where they were on their scooters and I had to chase them around on my skateboard.
Weather is starting to pack in some, but there's still some surf so will hopefully get the girls back out the board soon

Cool to see the girls are already getting into surfing/longboarding.

Many days of rain have turned the sea into a sus brown. I knew I was going to miss summer, but what the hell. I can't deal with this.

It started with a disagreement about stip’s tournament management style and just steamrolled from there

We haven’t fought yet, but I’m walking on egg shells today as my wife seems to be in a terrible mood and I have no idea why. “Tired” has been the reason given, but my goodness who isn’t.

Cot out for a second surf this evening. Had heaps of fun, caught heaps of waves. I think this is starting to come back after so long out of the water
