Very different and well-acted. The absence of background music is an interesting choice. Some mandatory stupid woke dialogue in episode 2, but the first three are still well worth the time. I can see this doing well come Emmy nomination time.
The other issue is the characters can’t really develop or have much of an arc since only an hour passes each episode. All the interns are just annoying me now, except maybe Cranston’s kid. She’s a better actress.Bi_3 wrote:Bi_3 wrote:The Pitt

This is getting more preachy as it goes on. Too bad as everything works really well until they inevitably pause for a whatever two minute lecture we are about to get.
oh christ, this was about langdon's masks or no masks in surgery comment to the anti-vaxxer.Bi_3 wrote:Bi_3 wrote:The Pitt

You’re a 40+ dad and it’s like 2am there. What are you trying prove right now? That new people should be scared to poast or they will be harassed? Is that the big plan today?spike wrote:I know an empty husk of a soul when I see one.Bi_3 wrote:Why are you like this?spike wrote:oh christ, this was about langdon's masks or no masks in surgery comment to the anti-vaxxer.Bi_3 wrote:Bi_3 wrote:The Pitt

mckay, the alleged fat shamer who misdiagnosed the overweight woman, is also the one referring to the kid as an incel. nice writing to demonstrate that there isn't woke and anti woke, just people with their different awareness levels to things.Bi_3 wrote:You’re a 40+ dad and it’s like 2am there. And for the record it was Collins shaming another doctor with “her size doesn't inherently make her unhealthy” about a 300+ lb woman who just gave birth 10 days earlier that finally got me to eye roll and that’s saying a lot about a show that repeatedly refers to a traumatized high schooler as an “incel” ( as if sex would fix his trauma ) so that when he inevitably shoots up the concert during some future episode the audience already has a comforting explanation.
dr robby repeatedly asks mckay to stop referring to him as the incel kid. but hear what you wanna hear dude.Bi_3 wrote:Spike, I assure you Dr Robby says it repeatedly as well, but you win dude. You are the winner

she's still hot. I seem to remember it being more violent, but maybe that's the later seasons.wease wrote:I fucking loved Hunter when I was a kid. Dee Dee was smokin hot. How does it hold up.BurtReynolds wrote:
