I love how much you love that song, even if I'll never understand it or agree. It makes me happy to see you fully fan out about it. :luv:

It’s the best song they’ve done in 20 years

This, though I also happen to generally agree.

Stevie is a great great song. We may not see eye to eye on No Code, but I’m with you on that.

I'm particularly disappointed in you, wease.

For me, WfS brought a listening experience that hadn’t been there since I fell in love with the first album. My enjoyment of Stevie may fade in time like some of the Ten songs have but my initial love for them probably won’t ever be matched.

I get why people like the song (I like it well enough, too) and I can even hold space for thinking it's the best song on Dark Matter (I disagree but not enough to fight about it). It's the Career Top 5 take that blows my mind.

But I don't need to understand it. I'm glad Stip feels that way. I'm truly happy for him. But it will always be a wild take to me.

Sort of like how he'll never understand how much I love In The Moonlight.

I had that last week, which is odd since it's not a favourite and also not one I listen to all that often

I am genuinely surprised they haven't played Waiting for Stevie on this leg of the tour yet. Unless I missed it?

Is there any information out there about how and why Pearl Jam chose this album title?

edit: I ask because Dark Energy comprises a larger percentage of mass-energy in the universe than Dark Matter. So if they wanted to “go big,” they should have gone with the former. I’m sure somebody here knows.
