Some budget details have been sent out (maybe leaked, unsure right now) and it's... ummmm... not good. We are about to cede the next century to China.

I had a big reply but erased it. I'll just say you can't run the country like a company.

Re: The 47th POTUS - Donald J. Trump
Donald Trump’s approach to tariffs appears impulsive and lacking a coherent long-term strategy. Rather than following a consistent economic policy, he tends to impose or threaten tariffs based on moment-to-moment political calculations or personal grievances, leaving businesses and international partners uncertain.
There seems to be a deeper concern: a fear that without delivering what he sees as wins—like trade deals or tariff leverage—he’ll lose the support and admiration he craves. This insecurity sometimes surfaces in offhand comments or erratic policy shifts, suggesting that he equates economic dominance with personal popularity, and struggles when he feels he’s not being seen as the strong negotiator he wants to be.

he might lose some support, but he'll always have people who will support him b/c they don't want to admit they got conned.
