I like the BoJ through Cord run, but the rest is not really the songs I like. Putting longer jam songs like RVM into the encore is an interesting choice

The No Code/Lightning Bolt balance is equal, which is okay. The proper ratio would be about 30% more LB

I just had indifference as an opener in St. Paul.

Also that's not exactly what I said. I said it's hard for me to be moved by a set list on paper these days

I stand by it

Mrs Wease was pulled over on the interstate on the way home from the show. As we were waiting for the cop to walk up to the car, she kept saying “I was only going 76! Why is he pulling me over?” So I was saying I guess she got a strict one watching the roads. So he comes to my (passenger side) window and asks how we’re doing and we’re like, great until now. He goes on to explain that he was in hot pursuit of another car but when he was ready to pass us in pursuit, he saw her tail lights weren’t on. We’re confused at this point because her headlights were clearly on so he proceeds to go around and explain she had her daytime running lights on and not her actual headlights. This is her work car and she’s actually only had it for a couple of weeks at this point. Embarrassed, she says thank you and tells us to have a good night.

Crazy to me that they’re playing Baba at the end of almost every show this leg. Would’ve loved to see it last year.

If it weren’t my favorite song, I probably wouldn’t care as much about the corduroy call and response. But it is so terrible.

And having the crowd recreate the DTE guitar solo was cool the first time.

the crowd energy was definitely insane, but song choices felt a little uneven at times, like the encore…idk…all those songs in the catalog, and we get covers.

these are my only post-show gripes.

we got to hang out with wease and his wife again, which was great! missed seeing the bodysnatcher by a hair.

We did speak and wave to each other briefly right before the show started, but yes, elusive.
